Often women simply mirror to observe the physical beauty. But has it ever women "mirrored" to observe the physical beauty more deeply, namely health?. Inspired by this, then held a roadshow Prodia Clinical Laboratory woman's health seminars in 17 cities with Jakarta as the city final. The theme of the seminar is "Looking Over The" Prevention and treatment Cervical Cancer and Osteoporosis. Two main topics discussed in the seminar is cervical cancer and osteoporosis, this is because the two diseases are diseases that often attack women. The seminar which took place in Prodia Tower, Jakarta on Saturday, December 12, 2009 yesterday was attended by guest speaker, dr. M. Syarief Darmasetiawan, SpOG-KFER as the Staff Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Gatot Subroto Army Hospital and the dr. Dwiana Ocvianty, SpOG (K) as a lecturer at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of medicine, and also speakers from Yati Sumiyati PRODIA ie, MSI, Apt.

At the first session, dr. M. Syarief Darmasetiawan, SpOG-KFER, discuss thoroughly about osteoporosis or bone loss. Osteoporosis itself is run like a stroke, occurs slowly so that the sufferer is not or not initially feel the complaints / symptoms. The new person will be aware of osteoporosis as joint pain / bone that never healed or a sudden onset of fracture because only a mild impact. Patients themselves usually will experience chronic pain which can overload yourself, your family or community. Through this seminar is hoped the community can better understand the intricacies of osteoporosis, so prevention efforts can be conducted on an ongoing basis as part of their daily activities. Message from dr. Syarief yourself is "Do not neglect to prevent osteoporosis because it will reap and suffered broken bones in old age." In Prodia itself is currently available examination of blood samples to detect the risk of osteoporosis is through examination of the N-Mid Osteocalcin and CTX.

Then in the second session, dr.Dwiana Ocvianty, SpOG (K), reveals the importance of screening or early detection of cervical cancer for women who already had sexual contact. The cause of cervical cancer is the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and the World Health Organization or WHO, cervical cancer is ranked as number-two cancer most often affects women with the estimated one third of women diagnosed with this disease will die. In Indonesia alone, cervical cancer is a cause of cancer death in women most of Indonesia. Nonetheless cervical cancer can be cured completely if found at an early stage or even prevented by HPV vaccination. Yati Sumiyati, MSI, Apt from Prodia complete information about the new inspection techniques for screening for cervical cancer is through a liquid-based cervical cytology examination (SSBC) and HPV DNA examination. Own cervical cancer screening is recommended to be done for every woman who has had sexual contact. For women aged <30> When the seminar also discussed efforts to prevent cervical cancer by HPV vaccination and healthy lifestyles.

Health is an inestimable treasure for mankind, therefore it is granted we must always try to keep it, either through a healthy lifestyle or by carrying out regular health checks.
